I tried installing and running the program but it came up with an error that an ActiveX component can't be created?
This is a flaw with a file from Microsoft that can occur. To get the file installed properly you need to go to our XML Installer. When asked you should tell the program to overwrite your existing file. This will install the proper file. We then recommend that you re-run the order checker installation program to make sure you have the latest files.
After I run a check the starting order number seems to change?
The Order Checker will automatically put the starting order number as the first order that failed validation in your last check. This way you can come back later and pick up with the last failed order automatically. If there are no failed orders then it will automatically be set at one order past the highest order ever checked.
Why does the bottom window show what is happening?
This window is used so you can see the program as it downloads and reviews your orders. It is also handy in case there are any problems you will be able to let our technical support know exactly where the program stopped.
Why does the bottom window keep jumping back and forth and it appears like it is processing 50 orders at a time?
The Yahoo store provides data in a very readable XML format to get the credit card processing status, but it doesn't show shipping status. So it has to flip between screens. It also takes the orders you want to process and breaks it up into batches of 50 orders at a time. This is done to cut down memory usage as it operates.
How does the program know if an order has not been completely charged?
The order checker automatically reviews all charge activity on the order. It will summarize all the charges and cancelled charges and compare versus the total order amount. It does not acount for any credits issued on the order for returns or other activity.
What does it do with on hold orders?
On hold orders are counted as live orders. They are charged by Yahoo and therefore need to be accounted for. All cancelled orders are ignored.
Is there a way to bulk charge, ship or cancel the outstanding orders?
With the standard version of the Order Checker you can't do any updates to your orders in the store. You may want to either look into our order processor program .
How long does it take to review the orders?
Unfortunately there is no definitive answer to this. The speed of the program is largely dependent on your computer and internet connection. But it can review orders much faster a person and can review a few hundred orders in a matter of minutes.
Will this program work on my Non U.S. Yahoo Store?
At this time the program has not been completely tested with all the international Yahoo Stores, but all our tests show it functioning perfectly so far. If you have any issues please let us know and we will resolve them.
